Article Marketing Strategies – Don’t Insult Your Readers

January 30th, 2011

This article discusses something that is rarely talked about within article marketing, misleading your readers. There are two common ways that I see article marketers constantly trying to fool their readers or mislead them in some way. First, within the content of the article and second, when they are calling their readers to action and asking them to click on a link.

Your content needs to be genuine and helping your readers to solve their problems should be at the forefront of your mind when you are writing it. Don’t promote products that you know are no good, don’t mislead your readers into thinking that something is good for them when it really isn’t, and don’t provide bad content that will leave your readers more confused after they read your article, than they were when you began. Not only is this wrong and not a good thing to do in general, it will also hurt your article marketing campaign and your whole internet business in the long run.

When providing a link in your articles, tell the readers exactly why they should click on it. Tell them what they will find when they get there and what information they can gather from your link. Do not promise something that is not there or lead your readers to believe that they will get more than they actually will. Again, this is wrong because it wastes people’s valuable time and gives all of us in article marketing a bad name. Also, you will not see any success from doing this since your readers will click away as soon as they realize what you are doing any way.

How Article Marketing Can Help Your Traffic Rates

January 29th, 2011

Popularity is the primary goal for any sort of website, and people want to look for more methods to bring traffic in to visit it. After that, they want to find out how to get search engines to rank their websites highly. Just like we are all aware, backlinks and traffic is what usually brings Google to rate a particular website so highly. If you want to get your website to have a greater number of visitors, a proper plan of action is necessary to form.

You won’t find a better way to boost your traffic and experience success in your website than with article marketing. You can even find a few different ways like link building and blogging to bring up your website, but with the help of article marketing, the effects are cumulative and will give you traffic no matter how long ago you wrote them. You can really benefit from this type of strategy in the long run. Article marketing can help you get quick results as well; try to write twenty articles a day and submit them to ten or so article directories in order to get more traffic steadily and regularly.

Article marketing also requires you to do a bit of research into keywords. Make sure your website’s keywords are unique and have your articles possess at least a 3% content increase, so your articles are adequately optimized for maximum efficiency. However, you should keep in mind that you need to stick to the same keywords after you pick them! Make sure you avoid selecting varying keywords for every article; keep them the same. Attempt to maximize your traffic capability by picking a set of keywords that relate to your business, and use them for all of your articles.

Getting traffic to your website often involves writing a lot of articles and including them to article directories and the website that you possess as well. Make sure you have a variety of topics that are addressed with these articles. In terms of the directory-related articles, though, you have to not let all of the tricks out of the bag; lead them in and direct them to your website in order to get the remainder of the information. Provided you have a quality article, you might be able to get them to click on the link. Keep in mind that a lot of great content allows you to boost traffic that comes to your website, so make sure to have your articles be as good as possible. Website articles have to be informative and give your users something that they won’t get anywhere else.

Making money online is easier than you’d think thanks to article marketing, as it will give your website the traffic it needs to be higher up in search engines. As time goes on, article marketing is more and more effective, and you can get all the traffic that you need.

The Three Tricks of Marketing Letters

January 28th, 2011

Marketing letters that are successful employ several different techniques and strategies. Good writers carefully balance the two. They use different techniques that are persuasive, use organizational strategies and various presentation methods to make killer sales letter that produce serious results.

There are several elements that create good marketing letters. These letters stand out in every situation. There are three tricks of the trade that every Internet marketer uses.

First, the best marketing letters have a clear understanding of the need of their prospects. A sales letter is never just about the product, and it definitely isn’t an opportunity for the writer to put themselves out in front. The best letters keep a steady focus on their prospects, and do exactly what it takes to get the response needed in their readers.

Second, good marketing letters never attempt to over do it. The temptation is always there to cover every objection, and be very detailed with every feature. This temptation is what every good writer learns to resist. They keep the message plain, simple, easy to understand, and memorable. The mindset is in the writing itself. Killer marketing letters are not the place to use a massive vocabulary, flowery wording or complicated language. These letters are the foundation for good writers to make their point clear and simple.

Third, the most powerful letter uses proven persuasive structures. They mainly use AIDA, which is Attention, Interest, Decision, and Action. This is the most organized method that appears time and time again in all good marketing materials – because it works.

It’s impossible to list all the components that make good copy. There are too many variables that are in play in a good sales letter and to attempt to list them one is bound to be missed. However, there are many common traits such as simplicity, audience focus and structure that always play a key role in all killer marketing letters.

Successful efforts are always maintained in what could be called a “benefit focus”. This means that the letters concentrate on how the product or service will benefit anyone who buys it. When people are thinking about purchasing a product or service, they want to hear how the product or service will improve their lives.

Good marketing letters always have a proven persuasive structure. They always use AIDA. There are hundreds of letters that rely on the idea of the simple formula of “Attention, Interest, Decision, and Action”.
